Overview
Contractors operate in an increasingly complex landscape—from changing federal programs, to heightened standards for building performance, to workforce and recruitment challenges.
The PA Contractor Network was created to meet the needs of today’s contractors. The Network provides the valuable resources that contractors need to help their customers succeed while paving a clear way forward for future generations of building professionals.

How it Works:
The PA Contractor Network is a quarterly virtual meet-up for contractors across Pennsylvania. These informal sessions feature guest speakers, industry updates, and open discussions on workforce training, funding opportunities, and growing your business. Join the network to stay in the loop, share ideas, and connect with other contractors.
The program receives grant funding—which means no one is charged a membership fee—but registration is required to maximize the benefits of the network and be looped in on communications.
Who Should Attend?
The 2025 program will offer separate specific sessions for residential and commercial contractors.
We strongly encourage HVAC, electrical, weatherization and building performance contractors to participate, and especially contractors from minority or underserved populations.
We also welcome others who find value in our programming, including (but not limited to):
- Equipment Manufacturers
- Energy efficiency practitioners
- Workforce development & training organizations
- Utility and Energy Efficiency Program administrators
- Others organizations that work with contractors

INCENTIVE PROGRAMS. Contractors can save money – and help their customers save money on energy efficiency measures – by taking advantage of key tax credits and rebates. Some incentives and other rebates that help contractors save money include:
- Rebates and Assistance Programs
- PennEnergy Savers: Sign up to become a member of the PA DEP’s Qualified Contractor Network so you can be eligible to receive Home Energy Rebates (HER) and Home Electrification Appliance Rebate (HEAR) dollars for installing energy efficiency upgrades.

- Become a National Energy Improvement Fund-certified Contractor to enhance your business reputation and expand your services.
- Access to the Keystone Energy Efficiency Program (KEEP Loan) for low-cost financing for energy home improvements—supported by the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA).
- Access to the Municipal Opportunities for Retrofits and Energy Efficiency (MORE) financing program for municipal energy improvements – supported by the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority (PEDA).
